Our Library is one of the most important academic support facilities of Institute of Management and Planning & Advanced Computer Training (IMPACT). It serves as a knowledge center that supports teaching, learning, and research activities for students and faculty members. The library maintains a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, and other learning resources related to various academic disciplines.

IMPACT library provides a well-furnished and peaceful reading room with adequate seating arrangements, enabling students and faculty members to study and conduct reference work in a comfortable environment. The calm and academic atmosphere of the library encourages self-learning and intellectual development among students.

Library offers circulation services through which students and staff members can issue and return books according to the library rules. This facility ensures easy access to learning materials and supports academic activities effectively.

To improve the efficiency of library management, IMPACT library uses Koha Library Management Software. This automated system helps in cataloguing, maintaining records of book issue and return, and searching library resources quickly and efficiently.

Our library is also equipped with digital learning resources. Students and faculty members are encouraged to access online academic platforms such as National Digital Library of India (NDLI), NPTEL, SWAYAM, and J-Gate. These platforms provide access to e-books, research journals, video lectures, and online certification courses that enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

In addition, the library subscribes to newspapers and magazines to keep students and faculty members updated with current affairs and general knowledge. A separate reference section is available where encyclopedias, dictionaries, yearbooks, and other reference materials are kept for consultation within the library. The library also provides a book bank facility to support economically weaker students by providing essential textbooks for their studies.

3	Identification	Users must carry their valid college identity card & library card while entering and using the library.
4	Borrowing	Books will be issued according to the rules and the prescribed borrowing limit of the library.
5	Return Policy	Borrowed books must be returned on or before the due date. Late return may attract a fine as per library rules.
6	Care of Books	Library books and other materials must be handled carefully. Marking, underlining, or tearing pages is strictly prohibited.
7	Loss/Damage	If a book is lost or damaged, the borrower must replace the same book or pay the cost of the book as decided by the library authority.
8	Reference Use	Reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, newspapers, and magazines are meant for reading inside the library only and will not be issued.
9	Mobile Usage	Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode, and loud conversations are not allowed inside the library.
10	Belongings	Personal belongings such as bags and personal books should be kept in the designated area before entering the library.
11	Usage Policy	Library resources, computers, and digital facilities should be used only for academic and research purposes.
12	Compliance	Users must follow the instructions given by the librarian.
13	Penalty	Any misuse of library facilities may lead to suspension or cancellation of library membership.

Ms. Sonika Kumari is serving as the Librarian of the Central Library of the IMPACT. She is responsible for the overall management and development of the library and its resources. She manages the collection of books, journals, magazines, and digital learning materials to support the academic needs of students and faculty members.

She also assists users in accessing relevant study materials and promotes effective use of library services. Through her dedication, she contributes to creating a well-organized library environment and encourages reading and learning among students.
